About Mast Healing

Space to listen. Support to move forward.

Mast Healing is an independent wellness practice in Aotearoa New Zealand, created for people who want a calmer, more sustainable relationship with wellbeing.

Why Mast

A steady point in changing weather

A mast offers orientation without deciding the destination. It holds steady, responds to the conditions, and helps make movement possible. That image guides our work.

We believe you are the expert on your own life. Our role is to listen carefully, offer skilful structure, and help you identify practices that align with your values, needs, and lived experience.

There is no ideal routine to perform here. We work with the time, energy, access, responsibilities, and resources you actually have.

How we work

Personal, practical, and evidence-aware

Our approach draws on established behaviour-change principles, mindful awareness, restorative practices, and flexible nutrition education. It is designed to complement—not replace—appropriate healthcare.

01

Listen before leading

Your context, culture, preferences, and definition of wellbeing shape the work from the beginning.

02

Make room for the whole person

We look beyond isolated habits to the relationships, environments, emotions, and demands surrounding them.

03

Keep change human

We favour clear, flexible steps over extremes, shame, rigid rules, or promises of a quick transformation.

04

Stay within scope

We are transparent about the role of wellness support and encourage collaboration with qualified health professionals when needed.

You are welcome here

Wellbeing with dignity and choice

Mast Healing welcomes people across bodies, identities, cultures, ages, abilities, and levels of experience. Practices can be adapted, paused, or declined. We use invitational language and will never ask you to push through discomfort to prove progress.

Mast Healing uses the term ‘wellbeing’ in a broad, non-clinical sense and recognises that understandings of wellbeing are personal, cultural, and relational.
