Wellness coaching is educational and supportive. It is not counselling, psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about beginning
Do I need to know which service I want?
Not at all. Tell us what you would like support with, and we can use the introductory conversation to explore which offering—or another kind of support—may be most appropriate.
What happens in an introductory conversation?
We will talk briefly about what brings you to Mast Healing, what you hope to gain, and any access needs or questions you have. We will also explain scope, format, and next steps so you can make an informed choice.
Is Mast Healing a medical or mental health service?
No. Mast Healing provides general wellbeing education, coaching, and restorative practices. We do not diagnose, treat, or manage medical or mental health conditions, and our services are not a substitute for care from appropriately qualified professionals.
Can I work with Mast Healing alongside healthcare?
Often, yes. Wellness support can sit alongside care from your health team when it is appropriate to do so. Please tell us about any relevant professional guidance or restrictions, and seek approval from your clinician if you are unsure.
What if Mast Healing is not the right fit?
We will be honest about our scope. If your needs are outside it, we may suggest seeking a relevant registered or qualified professional. You are always free to decide not to proceed.
